Shorepoint Membership Application

If you feel that you meet all of these requirements, please complete the Membership Application and then sign the Membership Agreement signifying that you will agree to abide by the principles detailed there. Please fill out individual applications. Married couples each need to fill out an application. Membership is made official after Shorepoint Church has verified your information and the Elder Board has accepted a signed Shorepoint Church Membership Application and Membership Agreement. These documents may be submitted to a pastor after you have fulfilled the requirements for membership. Membership Agreement Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and been water baptized by immersion, and being in agreement with Shorepoint Church’s belief statements, strategy, and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the Shorepoint Church family. 

In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following: I commit to growing in my personal relationship with Jesus Christ: 
• by maintaining a meaningful prayer life 
• by reading my Bible as a regular part of my daily life I will protect the unity of my church: 
• by acting in love toward other members 
• by refusing to gossip • by following the leaders I will share the responsibility of my church: 
• by praying for its growth 
• by inviting the unchurched to attend 
• by warmly welcoming those who visit I will serve the ministry of my church: 
• by discovering my spiritual gifts and talents 
• by being equipped to serve my pastors 
• by developing a servant’s heart I will support the testimony of my church: 
• by attending faithfully 
• by living a godly life 
• by giving a tithe regularly
